I logged out of the game tonight at 1,999 kills. I hadn't turned in my bounties for a while, so figured I should cash out before number 2,000 Didn't want to press my luck. I think I made about 6 of those with a lakon type 6, approximately 500 with a sidewinder, 1,000 with a viper and the rest with a cobra. About 300 of them were made while playing with the oculus rift. I think I'm some where around 21 deaths (damn kamikazes).
I'm guessing that this would put me somewhere in the Mostly Harmless catagory when rankings are put into the game

They were all ai pilots, so I'm not trying to say it was any kind of big accomplishment. Just wondering where some of you other Commanders stand in kill count and how you got them.

i have to admit that most (if not >80%) of my 2500 kills are...fed fighters
a few kills were humans, they're much more fun to fight.

considering my >50 deaths would rank me as "easy prey" lol

and that brings me to an idea:
-an "admit kamikaze attack" button in the insurance screen. sorry for having teached the npc's to do that

I did quite a bit of shooting other people down in Red Baron Online and a bunch of other flight sims. I always felt bad afterwards Not bad enough to let them shoot me down, but bad enough to really not enjoy it much. So I stick to ai these days.

I wiped out just enough fed fighters to upgrade to the viper and never went back. They would be much more fun if they let the Dreadnaught shoot at you :smilie:

Mostly Harmless? Is that a guess or do you know how many kills each rank takes?

That would rank you dangerous on past elites. Except Arcelite where you would be above average.

I think they need to adjust the ratings to balance the fact its possible to rack up more kills per minute on this than any other elite, if they arent already.

It's hard to say because I switched over to a lakon type 6 and did a bunch of trade runs. It wasn't much. Right now I am sitting around 2,500,000. Also, I didn't turn in 1,999 bounties. Probably a third of them were bugged and provided nothing.

I'm sitting at around 360 kills, one or two PC's and about 4 or 5 crashes for me... I do mean crashes. Either hit the station or crashed into a few kamikazies..

The ranking system has been mentioned before and figures have been bandied about but the E : D ranking system isn't based solely on the number of kills so speculation about ranks equating to kill numbers is pointless.

Not really, because the combat elite ranking is based only on kills.

Yes there are other rankings that dont use kills, but the kills one does.

2000 Kills?? damn, I have to stop that trading and exploring
