Nice boost to Audio (Beta)

Just a small QoL, we can now 'boost' parts of Audio in the sound menu. Just cranked up NPC audio, the tower frequency audio (and clarity) whilst docked at the station has improved immensely, sounds like a bustling spaceport.

Would be nice if we could tweak the delay time settings of the station announcer announcer announcer...

or better yet... mute him

does that mean i can finally hear the SRVs wavescanner again, even if i am moving and my family is awake?

Wave scanner also has a boost, and Autoducking -

Seems like they've found an efficient way to solve so many audio problems of many different commanders all wanting adjustments in different directions. So, to save a generic adjustment, they can now let us fix our own sound according to our personal needs. Nice solution.

lol,
they really always had the autoducking in reverse???
lowered the volume of the wavescanner so we could hear the driving sounds better?

and we can now turn it off

Autoducking was already there before. Just to have that out of the way.
.
And yes, when I read about the sound upgrades, I decided to go for it a bit yesterday. So the one hour I managed to get for the game, I grabbed my Krait Phantom, put a vehicle hangar into it and went to the next planet.
.
First of course I had to fiddle a lot with the old volume settings. They were reset, it'll take me a little to really have them again where I want them. But that's a low price for the new options. When in the SRV, my first reaction again was that the wave scanner, while being at the new maximum, is still too silent.
.
But then I started to move to the signal and had to realize at which distance to the object I was when I heard the faint signal. Once I got a bit closer, the signal was much louder, more crisp and clear. A huge improvement to before. I am even able to do surface prospecting on my normal speakers now and don't have to use my headphones any more for that. That's an awesome upgrade! :) [up]

That is music to my ears! Your right that is an awesome upgrade.

Nice! Triple A settings menu inc.

One thing i really want is the ability to have more options on "Hold" and "Toggle" like landing gear for example.

Nice sound updates. Maybe it'll help with the SRV wave scanning listening.

Just thinking about that. Why not put a "mini-FSS" into that wave scanner thing. Where along with the automatic srv wave scanning, An "amplifier"-seeker tuning could be done to isolate the band signals and the info tab describes what kind of object is out there up to 1km away..
