IF I used VA, that would be the only voice pack I would use. I happen to get a laugh at John's slightly foul-mouthed sense of humor. Of course, I'm the same person who spews such obscenities that I have been known to offend drunken sailors and make the devil blush and cover his ears - so there is that.
But I don't use VA. It seems terribly inconvenient, is another layer of software I have to run, and voice-activated anything and I just never work out so well. You should hear me argue with Siri.
On the subject of HCS and voiceattack, some may recall about a year ago I got fed up teaching my pc how to understand Scottish and shelved it.
Well about two weeks back I had another go - now the new motherboard - Gigabyte Ax370 that I got awhile back when upgrading to Ryzen 2 might be part of the equation as I reckon the onboard sound is probably better than what I had before - but the biggest improvement was this cheap condenser mic - https://www.amazon.co.uk/DISDIM-Microphone-Condenser-Recording-Smartphone/dp/B0719CHFLS.
So just thought I'd throw that up as it was completely unusable for me before and is now rock solid - quite the turnaround (singularity with they key mapping configurator was a godsend as well).

Oh great. As if I haven’t sunk enough cash into HCS voicepacks since I started playing this game and believing that I had successfully ignored the email I received today regarding the Black Friday discount.....I now find out that Leonard Nimoy voiced DARK.
That pretty much guarantees the debit card will come out later and I know that will inevitably lead to to me buying Eden, just when I thought I had this weakness under control.
If I’m not careful I’ll blow my VR headset budget on voices and paint jobs.
