Actually, it's this kind of entitled thread that makes me sad for Frontier devs, having to read this nonsense.
Or sell a pack of MB skins that cover all the ships, including future skins. Sure charge $70 for it; people will buy it, no problem.
I've got a few Midnight Black skins, but I don't really think it's fair to demand them for unreleased ships. Not having any clue how much work goes into making a paint job, I'd suspect that the artists have other things lined up too.
At least I can get a black skin for my Krait MK. II, so that's cool. And there'll probably be cool stuff for the Christmas countdown too, so eh, I can wait.

You must be very sensitive. Don't worry, Frontier aren't, and this is hardly something that's going to make them sad. I personally don't think they don't give a toss (about our wants and needs), but it is a perception that the community has and I referred to it as a fact.
I congratulate them heartily for their successes as well, my feedback is balanced. Lastly, as salty threads go, this is pretty weak.

Usually I'm all on board for a nice complain-session about paintjobs, but Midnight Black is so wildly overrated, overhyped, overused, and just plain boring, I can not muster a single crap, try as I might.
I wanted discounts on older skins, I was all set to splash out on four new paintpacks.
Someone did leave some pretty good advice though. I'll repurpose it for myself and for those upset about not being able to be all teenager-emo-black in their new spaceships right away:

Perhaps this is the special content that was promised in Beyond for early backers: they will get the midnight skins when those ships go live (or may even have them now in Beta) and the rest of us have to wait until this time next year.
As "the rest of us" still have to pay for them either way, I am also disappointed they aren't available now.
In all fairness, the T-10 debuted a few weeks after last Black Friday and we're only getting it's paint job now. So there is precedent.

Come off it, we'll have the ships in one month and no black paintjobs for another 11. It surprises you that this would bother someone who wants his whole fleet black? Did you even see the thread I linked in the OP?
Try not be so sensationalist. It;s not like it's something 'they will add in future', it's already in beta.
There is no comparison between this and selling stuff that doesn't exist in a certain other franchise, but go on, make out as if we're crazy, if that floats your boat.

So... if I were to acquire the licensing from Frontier and then hire a shipyard to construct a quad-engine cruiser that was a replica of an Orca, should I then be upset that I can’t get a bunch of Frontier interns to paint it Midnight Black for the $3 I already paid, rather than the industry standard of around $12,000 for something that sized (top and bottom coat), or does that sound just as ridiculous as complaining about not having accessories for something not yet released?
Perhaps we should also complain about the lack of Midnight paint jobs for our fleet carries we don’t yet have either.
