Black friday stuff

Why are the new black friday skins not available for my Krait, Condor, Taipan...etc even though I pre-ordered Horizon. I should have them already unlocked.

I don't find this particularly funny, I shouldn't have to buy them twice.

In an act of absolute dairy farmery, only the ships that were available at that time were included in that one time pre-order deal. Any ships released after that point aren't included.

I know, it's stupid aint it, but that's cosmetic micro transactions for you bud.

Picked up all the Imperial Midnight Black paint jobs, the blue accent lights look really nice against that black paint.

I must have gotten most of the Midnight Black paintjobs in a bundle (with buying Horizons on black Friday??). May add Krait and Chieftain.

Though I have to say 2 GBP for 1 solid black paintjob instead of the normal 3 GBP for 6 paintjobs doesn't sound like a great deal.

Figured I'd give it a few hours for the excitement to ease back and not risk getting trampled in the rush. Store definitely said all the blacks were TWO QUID yesterday, before the T10 was added and now everything has gone up?

What's all this about FDev?

Where's the thing that says get in quick before the prices suddenly and magically inflate by 50% a few hours after the sale starts?

Is 'Midnight Black' the same as the 'Black Friday' paintjobs I have been hearing about for a year? About 2 weeks ago I wrote an email to Frontier Support asking if "the Black Friday paintjobs" would be available this month. A chap writes back to me this morning saying they're not available, they might come back someday. Then browsing the livery tab I find the 'Midnight Black'. Well, it looks nice on my Orca and Vette. But it strikes me more as priests' socks black rather than say, Hot Black's spaceship black.

Did LEPers get the black for the Beluga? I can't remember. Otherwise, I will buy the paint - I'm sure I will need a stealth Beluga some time in the future. And one for the Krait ... I know I don't have that yet.

Black Friday is supposed to be the "Official" start of the Christmas shopping season. The Friday after Thanksgiving which is always on a different date over here. Kinda sad to see what it's become. Now with the rise of online shopping they've added Cyber Monday to the fray....

Sooo... I'm in Canada and can't place BF skins in my cart on the Frontier Store unless I pay in pounds. When I switch to USD they disappear from the cart.

Well the game itself and Horizons are both 60% off.

I treated myself to a good few yesterday. I have to say they are a real mixed bag. The AspX for example is excellent, being a nice even matt black all over. The Krait MkII is rather disappointing by contrast, with the black being broken up all over the place by grey edges to all the hull plates. Dito on the T9 and Anaconda.

I have to say I think the Chieftain and the Challenger both look absolutely beast in black. I'll post a pic later.
