To the ROA guys interdicting me...

...in Wyrd yesterday at around 1915 gmt. It is probably hard to believe, but my computer crashed (BSOD) right after I submitted. I was in a Cutter, which I wanted to prepare for AX combat. It has about 7000mj shield and no weapons, so it would have been no fight anyway.
I am sorry, it probably looked like a clean combat log, but my new CPU oc settings weren't stable after all.

See you next time.[smile]

I know Wyrd can be quite interesting.

RoA, bless 'em, seem quite keen on interdicting unarmed players. I've lost two ferry ships to these guys.

From what ive seen they interdict everyone, i had a chat with one of them and they were quite cool about it.

Nasty pices of Work RoA, Good PvP'ers, but WILL and DO attack anything and anyone entering Wyrd system. Be aware if you jump into Wyrd in open of course and see Hollow squares or Hollow triangles, be prepared to HW away immediately and if you don't want a fight or the hassle, then come back in PG or Solo.

This has been going on now for sometime, so not a new thing!

We gave them a bloody nose the other day before they drove us off, it was great fun and for the 45 minutes that we kept them busy, of course shipping was safe. We were doing well until they managed to get enough numbers in system to drive us off.

It was a 6 vs 6 furball at one point, exhilarating stuff. Well done to all GARD pilots who participated, despite our lack of wing experience, we handled ourselves well. Well done of course to RoA as well, respect. We'll be back, and each time we come, we'll be stronger.

GARD is committed to restoring order in Wyrd. Expect us.

From Inara: "The Ronin of Amarak are known for their unstable and unpredictable nature. Some freighter pilots state that dropping drugs, slaves or other consumer goods during an encounter speared their lives."

Heh.. this is actually cool :)

Difficult to know all these things though. Anything new in the game allowing other players to see where groups 'live' and what their mantra is?
Or are external sources like Inara still the best place to look?

Now I cannot follow...

Maybe it was a guy with a Fer de Lance? He interdicted me some days ago and I put him on the run.

Good Fight by the way

It was an FAS interdicting me, but there also were FDLs around.

If you don't have access to any player intelligence networks, Inara is still the best source of faction information, yes.

Due to recent events, we quizzed them on their RP, and were told that the Inara description is inaccurate (by their upper management) and they are not pirates, but pvp outlaws. So they're griefers, basically. What they want is high level pvp, of course, who doesn't, but they'll take newb pvp as well if they can get it, that's the difference between a group like them and a group like us. They will kill anyone for any reason.

The reason they were killing folks recently (and is pretty funny) is for having docking computers. They would pull you, scan for a docking computer, and then try to destroy it (or it and you) if you had one. That was exactly why we went to fight them that night (not that any of us uses a docking computer that I am aware of, lol, we just thought their RP was funny and that we had to try to stop them, so off we went). ;)

Now I cannot follow...

Have a read of my pm, I think you'll understand. :)

I find it a legit reason to shoot someone tho.. docking is an artform, and the DC spits on it. Hehehe
