Named planets

Hello. If you took the option to name a planet during the kickstarter / crowdfunding stage, how might one know if that planet had yet been discovered?

I named a planet after my son and would love to find out how to navigate there, if it has even been found.

Just key it into the Galaxy Map search field.

Are these named planets all in or around the bubble? If so, chances are it's been found. Also, doesn't searching in gal map still let you search by planet names?

You can always rename your son ...

Just rename your son via a Deed Poll or geographic equivalent as Synuefe D16 A 4

Unsure, but I've done searches that have taken me to systems I've never been before, and on visiting them a station in that system has has the name I was searching for. Not sure if it's happened with planets or not.
