12 things i really would like to see in 3.3

Hey this isnt Salt.. its pepper - i jest, just suggestions to hopefully improve 3.3


1. PWS show us the feature roids via colour
- Red = Fissure
- Yellow = Sub surface
- Green = surface deposits

2. Less clutter on the Hud - i dont need discoveries popping up on the middle of the HUD & on the top right and also in the nav panel... its too much

3. Distance to DSS, while planets are fine and its quite fun Gas giants are set way too close to use gravity effectively and it's disappointing negotiating rings that close.

4. Lighting when returning to cockpit from FSS, its mega bright for some reason but tones back down

5. FSS filters, not really interested in signal sources so can i just filter them out (i.e. the blue blobs for them can not display if i filter it)

6. The blue blobs.. a little more obvious would be nice, the contrast on PC beta was ok on Xbox and my TV its pastel like and washed out, changing the contrast / brightness of the TV ruins the rest of the beautiful galaxy

7. Fissures - why cant we cram more than one seismic charge into one fissure (this routes from some asteroids not spawning enough fissures to blow it up - could be a bug and reported but would make life easier, they're not exactly common)

8. Hardpoints / fire groups - i dont know the answer here but a miner has 11 (i think) hardpoints / utilities to "fire"

9. Small seismic charges (sorry i had to) :p

10. can we see the star on honk on the scanner, just so we know relatively how close we are to its exclusion zone on the scanner rather than guess / eyeball it as different classes differ, at least pre 3.3 if it was red you were pretty close and needed to alter course before dropping, now its guesswork as exclusion zones differ per star.

11. Jump range summary is a little hidden in the right hand panel, used to show your Current (max) which was useful for manual plotting near the edge now its hidden beneath a few layers of buttons on the panel

12. PWS again - can the colour be a little less pixely? its minecraftesque

7. Fissures - why cant we cram more than one seismic charge into one fissure (this routes from some asteroids not spawning enough fissures to blow it up - could be a bug and reported but would make life easier, they're not exactly common)
Erm...at risk of sounding patronizing... you realize you can charge up seismic charges by holding down the trigger, right? You can get into the blue zone with two charges, using low or average strength fissures.

By my count it's seven. Pulse wave, prospector, collector, lasers, abrasion blaster, subsurface missile, seismic charge. Still rather horrible of course. Oh and you need to use a discovery scanner and surface scanner if you want to find hotspots yourself (although this won't be necessary once they fix the bug that prevents discovered hotspots from showing up)

i've found a few asteroids with only the single fissure :( but yeah fire groups are horrendous as a miner.
