Modes I know I'm beating a dead horse, but we need official PvE servers

Last night, I got my Anaconda, upgraded it a teensy bit (Still mostly stock though) and had a rebuy in case something happened. Private server my friends and I are on bugs out and we switch to open to meet up in a station. I literally do one jump, get interdicted by a Fed in an Imperial ship, and get blasted to bits... What do these people actually get out of it? a sick sense of accomplishment? I now have to play extra careful until I get my rebuy back... [knocked out]

p.s. Yes I am a member of Mobius, my friends weren't yet though, so it was said private server or open...

i haven't logged into the forums in months , i did today to beat this horse , pve only mode is bad idea , not only practically, but immersionally as well

I'd noticed new threads generally about segregation of pve and pvp usually come about after soon after a personal griefed incident by the topic starter. Sorry it happened, and it sucks and I fully empathize with the feelings, but I guess one learns to evade and keep alert while in open and in hotspots. I got so ashamed when I got griefed in a big-3 ship too a while back, I restarted new on another account. And I guess part of the "thrill" of being in open is knowing there is always the chance however usually faint, of some closet pyscho ready to ambush from behind a bush and whack a mark caught off their guard for the lols.

yeash, i got ganked and data throttled and kicked out of the game , they videotaped it put it on youtube and i got kicked from my group for combat logging, i logged in on my same account the next day, to rebuild , ild never buy another account lol

yeah, I'm one of those who have multiple accounts by now where I usually bought another account on the annual holiday sales. And by that time of my incident, I was already at the point of wanting to start over with a new cmdr to attempt to recapture some of the novelty of the game while progressing again. So now I can have one big-3/medium in the bubble to do bgs/pp, and then another big-3/medium off exploring in the void, and then another cmdr for whatever (and so on).

On a PVE server you would just get rammed into the mailslot and blow up that way, possibly it would be even more toxic environment as everyone playing there would pretty much announce that they are unable to cope with pvp.

Next time try a relog (both log to menu) when in a private group to see if you get another server or ask your friend to setup one and you setup one to jump between , might help when bugged out.

There are no "private servers on bugs out"

PG is working as well or better as open, so why not use your own PG?

And don't go to open if you're not prepared to be attacked by players or to eat a rebuy, especially to engineers.

Unfortunately if you give some people a rock, they'll throw it at someone and then come up the most infantile sociopathic reason to justify it.

We have such people in the mental hospital, sorry I meant to say 'open'.

You wanna know my reason for sending people like you to the rebuy screen? Because I love watching you blow up, and the saltier you are about it, the more I enjoy it.

I really hope you're on Xbox and I really hope it was one of my DRTY Co boys that blew you up.
