1.5 years away... how can I restart. "phase 4" stated now ;-)

Hi folks,

I didnt play for 1.5 years as I (yes, I say it again...) thought that the game was pretty boring after a while.

I want to give it a try again. Can someone take me by the hand. The videos I see after more than a year are still the same. Flying ... boring ... black ... nothing but tiny enhancements.

But there should be more now? I would like to join a "crew" aka squadron and join a megaship and fight PvP or something interesting. Also sightseeing would be ok.

I remember seeing you in the past in the forums.

I would say that the game is the same, but better. MC is fun, but limited and somewhat unstable. Wing assassination missions with MC (turrets and SLF) is great fun.
Mining with other people with the new system is also good fun IMO, and the improved lightening really shines in asteroid rings (IMO).

SRV racing nonsense while exploring is still a must do. Same goes for canyon racing and destruction derbies with cheap stuff close to the surface.

I did the new guardian mission with a friend and it was really cool as far as gaming goes. Good vistas, good fun and good immersion. Plus the rewards are nice.
Doing SRV with SLF air support vs the guardian sentries was neat.

PvP I can't speak off, I haven't touched since, like,... 1.5 years :)

IMO ED is at it's best when doing things in coop.
