Horizons Space versus surface POI

When flying passenger missions if the mission target is in space I would see two blue bars for distance and several blue bars for correct speed. For surface mission targets I would see only the blue bars for correct speed. With the new update you get the blue bars for distance even on the surface mission target and now you are being told to safely drop out of supercruise at 1mm above the planet whereas before you just went into orbital mode and then glide mode. Anybody else see this? Is this the way it is supposed to be?

So no glide when on final approach ?
Like dropping into a signal source ?
No. You get the safe to exit supercruies message but I just ignore it and as you get cloer to the surface your ship goes into orbital flight and then glide mode. Definitely not the way it was before the patch. Not a game killer, just annoying.

Ok. Sorry I misread your post.

Yeah. This sounds anoying. I was doing military missions on surfaces last night but cant recall if I saw this message. I think not though.
