Horizons "Very Positve" On Steam..but not for long!!

Was goood to see the Very Positve recent user reviews on steam. (Not that i hold that as THE important thing most do here)

However since the launch of the patch it has gone from 93% down to 86% and seems to be continuing down a percent or so each day. ( i like numbers and keep an eye on these things, im a geek ok?)

And so it seems it will once again be a "Mixed" score if the trend continues at this rate.

So i must ask.. what do you thnk it is thats *** off all these people recently when things were seemingly better than theyd ever been a week ago?

It seems like a lot of times, something can be enjoyed 99.9% of the time, but they find one thing they do not like and they fixate on that to the point where they end up strongly disliking a product, steam has a TON of things that seem like that, enormous amounts of play time, but then negative review. Some people also do it 'for fun' and it is incredibly frustrating.

I hear you.

Whats worse than that though is seeing a negative review with 0.2 hours playtime logged...Or getting a negative review becuase they tought the tutorial was too hard..(actual reasons i read on some, no joke)

I agree its frustrating.
It seems rare that any of the negative reviews have a combination of both a decent play time AND a legitimate reason. Some do but the majority of recent reviews a re a joke if you look through them.


I predict it will be back at "Miixed" In about 2 weeks Tops at this rate.

Yeah i'm all for people having their own opinion on things, that's fine, but we seem to have reached a point where many are so privileged that they do not consider that the game might not be the problem, but their view and approach to the game, heck the game might not fit them, no, the game is wrong, they aren't. :(

The game will always receive mixed reviews because it never compromises, and that's not something that modern gamers are very into. Those that appreciate it know its worth, and that's really what matters.
