Paddock combinations

What dinosaurs do you keep together? Do you group them by appearance, by time period?

For my latest park, I wanted to put as many dinosaurs (by number, with visual variety in species) as possible per paddock, so I started by looking at the maximum population different species would tolerate.

Note: I use units as an approximate guide to paddock size. 1 unit is one square with the maximum length of fencing, based on the assumption that the maximum fence length is 90 feet, and a square area of 8100 feet.

I had 5 Struthis in here, but it kept upsetting the Camarasaurus as being too many. 3 seemed to be tolerable.

Also, a general paddock tip: electric fences can power viewing platforms, so you don't need substations to power them.

Are you serious about the platforms and electric fences!?! That changes my electric poles everwhere!

Latest paddock: combining species that prefer a high percentage of forest.

5 Camarasaurus
4 Mamenchisaurus
11 Archaeornithomimus

And 1 Edmontosaurus to fill up the paddock to the Archaeornithomimus tolerance of 21.

Hey Spruce56 do you have the Secerets of Dr Wu DLC? If so you can increase the population tolerances of all dinos, so you're enclosures can have more dinos.
