OK, maybe its all good now for SC - they have actually "Publisher" now, who will keep them in check, so Answer the Call 2019 is real now.
Doesn't this somewhat fly in the face of what Chris was proclaiming years back, that SC would not be beholden to publishers and he wouldn't be held back in any way by an outside entity?
 
I was going to review the flight model and answer questions as requested, But due the horrible messages/PM's following my other posts. I will leave here. My privacy is more important to me as is being able to chat in reasonable atmosphere without feeling that people are looking to take these discussions out of this forum.

Sorry to hear that, but i really can't say i'm surprised. Some of the individuals in these SC threads somehow manage to reach new rock bottoms with their blinded hate towards SC and everyone who likes the game, and theres a reason i personally moved on to other platforms to discuss about SC. I recommend the same for you and everyone else who dislikes toxic people.

Even my 3-year old son knows that bullying is wrong.

Alpha Patch 3.4.0j has been released to the PTU, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: PTU-1025819.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizenPTU\LIVE.

Please monitor ptu test chat in spectrum for updates and testing instructions.

r_displayinfo = 3

Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus".

New Ships: Hawk, Freelancer variants, 600i Touring
Lorville Central Business District
Hurston mission variants (bounty missions, downed relay missions, FPS AI missions, delivery missions, scramble races)

Major Known Issues:

  • Klim may ocasionally be facing the wrong way.
  • Ruto's hologram currently doesn't appear.
  • FPS AI are not responding correctly.
  • Party invites have issues inviting more than one person.
  • The 600i's lifts may be missing interaction prompts.

  • There's now a keybind for stowing and retrieving mission specific utility items "6", which may be required for drug and server blade (relay) related missions.

Could you please point out some examples of "blind hate towards SC and everyone who likes the game". I don't think making fun of, or wanting Crobear to fail for taking money under false pretences, which seems to me to be the overriding view of the non-believers, could be classed as hate. Do you?

I suppose you must get used to it, that looks really busy on-screen.

When you consider the howling of folks in "The other game" over the offset screen pillar in the FdL! ;)

Good to see changes. I still think that facemask is a bit too "rule of cool" if there is no visible obstruction from having a full coverage mask on with 2 separate ocular sensors? Do they create a stereoscopic image which is holo'ed into the inside of the helm to recreate a clear glass effect?
 
Or complaining about supercruise travel times (some even falsely assuming any trip in ED is as long as Hutton Orbital's)

Haters gonna hate but I don't blame them. Most of them just don't understand game development or simply haven't seen the light. I am confident every penny given to the project is applied correctly and a 100% dedicated to the development. It is just inserted somewhere else into the pipeline so it doesn't clog.

To be fair, there's a bit of a gap between "understanding game development" and "selling off 10% of a studio you didn't pay for to some clown in the Cayman islands without telling anyone and keeping the money."

And yes, I'd cheerfully throw CR into that gap.

I honestly believe that much of the staunchest Elite detractors played probably only the first iteration, or nothing at all...
