Bethesda games? Yeh, I'll wait for the release and the first reliable review outside of the Games Media Shillers list.
Given the dumpster fire that is Fallout 76 and Bethesda, they will not be getting any praise, money or support from me for a loong time. Even if it's a good game.
I recall the original Rage as being a graphical and bug ridden mess that took me months to get even working/playable on my computer. Thanks to user guides and .ini tweaking (a.k.a. not official support) I got it playable horrible textures and all.
I recalled it as "meh" interesting story/mechanics but the ending did feel rushed.

I liked Rage.
It was 250% better than Duke Nukem Forever.

Triple A gaming is console gaming and this Rage 2 will be a disappointment on PC. I don't have faith in Bethesda or any studio that is sub contracted out for this.
Just visiting Bethesda's page made me feel filthy for some reason. Back in a bit, I'll need a shower after this one.

Not sure what people's issue was with dn forever. Loved the originals and had fun with forever.
Oh that's not the point, though. I had fun with DNF as well! But it was an objectively crap game after decades of hype.
I would compared DNF to the 80's "B" action flicks. They are awesome if you're in the right mood. But you can't think about them too much.
I got it in 2013 on a sale. It ran without any technical issues. Graphics weren't too impressive though.
According to Steam it lasted 40 minutes before I got bored, closed it and never launched it again. In the current day and age it would have been a typical candidate for a refund. Back then they weren't a thing.

Could not agree more, i remember a lot of "omg a insensitive crude humor game with beer, fart and genital jokes game! 0/10!" reactions. Well yeah, it's Duke Nukem, what did you expect.
Also nothing could have lived up to the hype of that 10 years of development.

It's not about humor, DNF was just a horrible game. Soaked in blandness to the last bone. And it saddens me to say that, because I love Duke Nukem. Duke is dead, long live Lo

No doubt Shadow Warrior was amazing. DNF was not great, but not complete garbage imho. Then again i was not expecting the 2nd coming of jesus with its release. You want to see a garbage game that both did not meet the hype or basic technical expectations, look no futher than fallout 76.
I actually really enjoyed first RAGE and had almost no technical issues with it. The only disappointing part was the ending with no major boss fight (but I guess thats the new trend now as both new Wolfenstein games lack any type of satisfying boss fight at the end [down][down][down]).

The fact that I don't even remember how it ended probably means it wasn't partcularly note-worthy.
But yeah, I don't remember any bugs or problems with the game either (provided I did play it about a year after the original release). And I had lots of fun playing it.

Rage 1 was great and one of the technically most impressive games...... Also bug free. This was on the xbox360 no idea on pc. Megatextures were amazing on it imo
maybe it was just ported to pc from xbox without any upscaling thats usually a problem
