Cannot find Famine or State/Disctribution Centres

Searched everywhere for Famine State and Distribution Centres, tried State filter and eddb, without success.

Yeah. No one has been driven to Famine yet I guess. Do DWE and manipulators really only spawn in Famine states?

And out of curiosity, have you tried going to systems that are not in famine, but that have non-controlling factions in famine?

eddb lists a lot of minor factions in Famine, but it may be bunk data. I'm going to go see what I can see.

Been looking for something useful to do.

You can still find DWE's by scanning outside busy stations

I stopped going to distribution centers long ago as i found it a bit boring, I stuck a wake scanner on my main trading ship and used it once everytime I left a station... I've never run short yet

I'v got some CMs from Dav's Hope today. You can scan wakes around busy station.

Another thing you can do is trade. A little more work maybe, but federation systems have been spawning CDC and other G5 stuff pretty well. You could stock up on those and trade out for chemical manipulators you need.
