[INDEPENDENT] Dedicated Private MOBIUS PVE Groups for the PC, PS4, XBOX with over 50,000 Commanders.

that's a discussion for the group, but being a player vs the environment group I would have to say that if a player has a bounty of 15,000 or over then they are fair game to other players, I think that's a fair amount for someone to reach as they will have plenty of opportunity's to pay off their bountys., but attacking another player is a big no in this group, even if you want to play as a pirate. so be mindful as if enough people message me about another player killing for no reason then they will be removed from the group.

its us vs the environment as a whole.

ha yeah, I get attacking others is against the core point of the group .....that's why I was curious about situations where one player has a huge bounty and clearly marked wanted because of the amount of piracy he has committed on NPCs.

UPDATE: Unless everyone disagrees?, if you see a fellow commander with a bounty of 15,000 or over then they are fair game.

Not sure if this would not just be the beginning of watering down the principles of the group.
Yes, 15,000 is pretty high, but it is still arbitrary.
I would expect a "dedicated PvE" group to put a ban on every PvP action, no matter why. Only situation excusable would be accidental friendly fire.

I plan to play All/this group/that group/sollo anyway, so it is not that important. It would just be cool to have a group where I can be sure, no matter my status, that only NPCS are enemies without having to go solo.
I would rather find it cool if I could help players with high bounties fend off the authorities until the player can clear his status without being blown up.
And if another player would then just fly in and try to claim that bounty, we would have a real awkward situation.
The limit for when another player is fair game is more for a "organised play group with binding behavioral rules" not "dedicated PvE".

What does the rest think about the matter?

What do the rest of you feel about having the freedom to attack a player with a bounty?

If you've got a bounty for attacking other players it'll be difficult to hide in private groups, so that's probably a moot point.

If you're wanted, other players will be able to track you down regardless. You can't duck in and out of open play to screw with people with impunity.

personally im fine about claiming a bounty of another player in the group, but being a PVE group I think its only fair to only attack a player if they have 15,000 or above, the amount gives the player with the bounty plenty of freedom to pay it off.

Personally, I think all crimes carry through. Any and all crimes make you fair game.

I know this was not the initial idea Mobius, you were talking about a 15.000 credit bounty limit, but that's just me. In my mind, your group would be for law abiding commanders.

But lets see where it goes.

Personally, If the player that has the massive bounty isn't in TS or something so a "chat" can be arranged, I'd offer the idea of breaking the silence and opening comms with Something like,

" This is Commander Corium, the Federation( or other faction ) has issued a 15,000 credit for your termination. "

This openly shows that the player ( Hopefully a Mobius member ) isn't going to just lock, deploy, and fry their ass. Instead it shows that the player is acknowledging the criminals existance, the price for their death, and it even gives the criminal the ability to turn and fight properly, or run.

If the criminal turns and fights, then it becomes a self-defense PVP with the outcome rewarding the original player with a 15k bounty should he/she defeat the criminal.

This is all opinion and recommendation as my time with player interaction has been limited to passing them in supercruise, watching them slap the side of a station, or blast my cargo bay doors open as soon as I leave the no fire zone.

So take it for what it's worth.

I feel a dedicated pve group is just that: a dedicated pve group.
No attacks on players whatsoever. If someone gets bounties on his head by pirating npc then that is his own business, no matter the height of those bounties. He will have to deal with the environment to get rid of the bounties or fight of npc police and nps bounty hunters.
As soon as players start pvp-ing because of monetary gain your pve group is dead.
If it is your goal to have a pure pve group then that is what it should be. That way there will never be discussions about this..

you do have a good point, and after thinking about it ill amend the post again stating that no pvp will take place with the exception of areas of the game where PVP is promoted, ie where you enter an area and a side needs to be chosen as part of the mission. or you are given a mission to hunt someone down who is carrying a diplomat or something, Im guessing that some missions will be unavoidable were pvp is required. but these missions are issued as part of the environment.

I'm definitely very interested in this sort of group - anyone knowing my posting history will be aware I'm not precisely PvP-loving :) Currently I've been 100% solo but would love to see more "live" ships flying about, without the drama of PvP potential. Being able to put together convoys to dangerous anarchies will be excellent, when restricted to PvE.

Count me in, if you'll have me. I'll see about how the group thingys work when I next get to play, do I do some sort of request from within the game?

while i agree with your original proposal regarding the 15k bounty limit, i do think that it could become problematic to monitor if the group grows into the tens or even hundreds of player commanders. i think for the avoidance of doubt the group should be purely PvE. it is of course very possible in the future to have organised events at organised locations for PvP battles without the fear of external interference. of course moderating the group or dealing with claims of being attacked by a player commander is going to be an headache for you mobius....

Fair enough.

I second (or third or whatever it's up to now) this view. One rule/exception could easily become two...then more...

Oh, and thanks for accepting me into the group Mobius. (CMDR Zachus) :)

Sent a request for your group.
I've been doing nothing but solo up until now so I figure it's time to play some MP - always been afraid someone will blast me whilst I have a full load of cargo.

Yes, that was my understanding of dedicated PvE, too.
Oh, this is going to be so much fun! I am looking forward to meeting you all in space.

I'll send a request for this group Mobius next time I play .. Exactly what I was planning to do myself :) build up a private PvE group .. (I have even been building a forum for it .. Still waiting on a header for the page .. now who was it I asked to do that ?? :p)
