Did Someone Say . . . Deep-Core Mining In a Corvette "Is Not Good"?

Another CMDR told me on the sub-r today that in his humble opinion "deep-core mining in a Corvette is not good". I beg to differ . . .

This is what approximately 4 hours work in a Corvette doing deep-core mining looks like:

[squeeeee]o7 [squeeeee]o7

4hrs? Bull.

They would literally be the only person to have said that.

Proper title would be "look at how much money I made for doing the same thing over and over again".

I set up an Orca for motherlode hunting. It has 128t cargo, enough to pay for itself in one full haul. And it's fast and agile enough to get around the asteroids. Only the 3A shields are a bit meek with the limpets bumping into the ship all the time.

Try an Imperial Clipper. You won't regret it.

Yes but is it a Cobra?

On the right pharmaceuticals it could be, but then I wouldn’t fly it.

I liken flying a Cobra to biting one’s own toenails - just because you can doesn’t mean you should, and if you do, you probably shouldn’t tell anyone.

I bite my toenails all the time. Nice & cheesy.

That explains a lot.

To be fair though, I own a Cobra. I’ve flown it around, I just can’t find anything to like about it.
If I want something small and shooty, I’ll take an Imperial Courier. If I want something to play Utility, I’ll take a Chieftain or Phantom. If I want something to crash into the side of anything else and go boom, I’ll take a fighter.

But that’s one of the reasons we have so many ships - different tools for different jobs for different people.

I wonder if I should mention my T-9 miner has 702 tons of capacity?

Can you post a build link when you get a chance. Back in the bubble, time to upgrade my mining T9. Been fun using the T-10, but as far as Core mining goes I definitely need to up my capacity.
