Game freezing spontaneously from anywhere upto 20 seconds at a time?

I am glad well glad is not the right word but its not just me I have rolled back graphic drivers played in low settings as I thought it was driver related but to no avail.
Will we have to wait to the new year for a fix?
Still playing but its very frustrating.

Happened about 3 to 4 times last night. Seems about roughly every hour to hour and a half.
Time to buy some more bandwidth FD :)

I get it occasionally though weirdly its my Frontier launched version that suffers from it far more then my steam launched account.

My steam account is my main played account and had maybe 2-3 freezes total on it in countless hours since 3.3 whereas my Frontier launcher account gets 2-3 every time I play it and I've only played it a couple of hours in 3.3

I haven't had anymore freezes or issues since yesterday and I played more than 5 hours today, mining and exploration.
I did play in solo so that might have something to do with it

I've had some small freezes (< 2 sec) from time to time and a couple of longer freezes. One was while flying SC in Solo, I pressed the UI mode button and the screen froze for maybe 3-5 seconds, a bit disconcerting since it happened as I pressed the button. I had a similar 3-5 second freeze in the controls section where the UI froze and I couldn't make changes until ED started to respond again. That was while docked in a hanger which puts a greater load on my GTX 1070 Ti video card.

Odd thing is I've had instances of my Logitech wireless keyboard and trackball becoming unresponsive while playing as well, sometimes requiring that I power cycle or worse have to pull and reinsert the USB receiver. I never had this issue during the beta, just since release.

It happened to me in UI as well once or twice. It really feels like it's out of the blue. Nothing consistent that connects the events.

Luckily, I haven't had any problems with my wireless kb/ms yet. I'm using Logitech as well.

I was multi-crew deep core mining and on chat with another cmdr, and it froze up. The other cmdr reported that he froze as well (at the same time). We both unfroze at the same time as well.

This leads me to believe it's got something to do with the server moreso than the client.

Wow. So maybe it is something server/network based after all. I've got many in Solo and in SC without doing anything, just cruising. But maybe it tries to connect anyway?

Oh... maybe it's related to the USSes? I think they might be server based now, so maybe when it's refreshing them it can hit a snag? Just pondering...

The game is a shambles right now in a lot of ways. I'm seeing ships floating through the walls of the station and clipping other things. It's messed up. Freeze ups not being fixed in the patch is quite frustrating. Happens during combat!

just happened to me, i had about 100million in void opals i dont even know why the ship blew up, the game just froze, then about a minute later, i hear eject eject eject, but there was nothing around me, that could have caused the destruction, shrug, 6 mil rebuy, means i wont be using my npc crew. until this matter is sorted, not gona chance that, the money can be got again, crew not so much.

I stopped using crew as well. Not much of help anyway.

Hello
The problem does not come from you, your computers, or your connection.

the problem comes directly from the server.
I play elite at a friend's house. the freeze game still at the same time on both computers.
