War and Conflict Zones

Nooooo

Folks like to say that handing in small amounts of bonds is better than dumping large amounts into the system coffers all in one go.

We all have our own opinions regarding this....... BUTT, AND is that a big butt or a tiny, tight butt??

Okay, here is my butt......

Influence is now frozen for the duration of the war or should I say the full seven day duration??

If influence is frozen from day one to the end of the conflict, does it really matter when and how we hand in our bonds?

A lot of thought might be required before we answer this query because...

So far we have only experienced a 4% gain in influence, no matter the size of population and no matter how hard we work.

A CZ might earn money but by crikey there are easier ways. I have just played with mining them their Low Diamond thingies and they can very quickly increase the old bank balance but I digress... :(

Influence and handing in of bonds.

I am about to try and win a war by solely handing in missions but this can never be a conclusive study as we have no idea of who comes into our systems, but thankfully we have locations in the back of beyond :)

In election, Ooops, I meant Coup or is that Coo? or coo, coo
There are thirty plus missionS between passenger and conventional but NOT ONE, NOT ONE chuffing mission offering 3+ or more of influence. Heaps and heaps offering reputation?? Even in a CZ we only allegedly get reputation... CHUFFING RE--U-LUSS

I'm convinced that when you leave a conflict zone without it saying "battle won" it counts as a defeat, more testing to come.

Well said and that has DEFINITELY been my personal experience.

The other thing to note is that in my experience 'INFLUENCE' might count for toodly spit when in a state of war??

We are told that influence remains locked down whilst we fight in a war...... All I can say is 'Maybe, maybe not' I have won a war by only doing missions, these mission NEVER ever gave a reward greater than 2+ of influence but the great majority gave 4 or 5+ of reputation along with the 2+ of influence.

On another occasion in a different war I did passenger missions that offered better influence points. Whilst in the middle of that war our INFLUENCE went up, the oppositions influence went down and by the end of that war we had a 6% separation but at no stage during the seven days of fighting did either side move from the status 'DRAW'

I read lots of posts saying how influence wins wars but I am still far from convinced and as we all know..... You win a battle in a CZ, your FACTION REPUTATION goes up, you lose a battle and your FACTION REPUTATION goes down!

Faction reputation was beyond my experience but since this upgrade that is all we get rewarded with when we win our fights in combat zones?? YES, we hand in combat bonds and does that give us influence?? It used to but now i have no idea.
