Lost everything in optional internal compartments.

I just lost a fight with an anaconda and ended up in "the Sepulchre Detention Facility"
This as happened before but this time i find my optional internal compartments all empty.
What happened , did I do something wrong and how do I get back all that expensive gear????.

Did you 'click' any options at the re-buy screen? There are options there to reduce the cost to re-buy by selling off modules.

Probably this but I did hear somewhere on an error that caused modules to go missing. I think in this case Customer Support is OP's friend.

Unfortunately, it's usually a user error.

@OP... when you earn the pleasure of visiting the rebuy screen, the default setting is 'rebuy all'. Unfortunately, FDev's choice of graphic representation for this is poor, so if you click the box by 'rebuy all' you are actually setting it to 'rebuy none' - which then clears all your optional, utility, and hardpoint slots upon rebuy. Yay! Long ago, I too learned this the hard way.
