Hey, he's about to leave. Let's all go, too!

Use the chat and tell them to hurry up ^^ Even if it's a bug, it seems to give the impression of stations being crowded though.
NPCs as limited chatbots would be a nice addition.

I can't say that I have experienced this, but I noticed that there is at least one ship waiting to fly through the slot, I don't think it is really related to my presence except the NPCs wouldn't be there if I am not there.

Hmmm... just like real life.

I leave the grocery store and go to my car and it just so happens that the person in the car next to mine is already there with all the doors opened loading up and in no real hurry either.

Then, when I'm leaving and backing out, the guy directly in back of me is also backing out along with the guy a few cars over backing out.

Then when they're out of my way someone else is walking in back of my car... also in no hurry.

I thought this only ever happened to me.

We're in the matrix and you and I are the only real people here. Just follow the white rabbit :)

I think it's fun when this happens.
When you keep your speed under 100 then you won't get fined for bumping other ships, so when there are a couple ships in front of me I throttle up to 99 in my Vette and just barge right through them, it's funny to see adders and haulers get swung all over the place:D

Oooooh. By the title i expected a "can i have your stuff" thread. This one is much better! :)

On what was written: I never noticed that effect before. But i don't usually watch a stations traffic unless i just am in the middle of it. So i might just have been utterly oblivious of this all of the time. :)

This is something that’s been happening for a while with both ships leaving and coming in just as I want too.

Well, blow me down, I am kicking myself for not noticing this.

I hope they don't fix it, cos you know what it means? Sit in the dock for 15 minutes, wait for a few ships to arrive, then take off, and wait outside the station for all the high wakes and scan them for mats. :)

I boost out EVERY time, ships in front of me or not. If I don't go through the mailslot at 300 plus desperately stabbing the lateral thrusters to squeeze by the beluga coming in, it doesn't count. :p

Err, I used to do that too but I'm almost 53 now, the only boosting I perform is in my recliner after a plate of beans....

It is amusing to what a Beluga get blown to bits as it's stuck in the slot whilst 6 or 7 wait to leave (you can leave using the entry side if you are in a hurry, be aware the station lasers can't see you though ;))

Other odd behaviour. If you take a while to land on a pad before getting permission others will use up all the available pads of your size (and not others). Then when they leave the pads are not reset.

Great for scanning wakes when running cargo missions, can get a few every time on my way out without ever actively hunting for them.

Glad to see I'm not the only one seeing this. Happens in open too, but I'm seeing it in both directions--up to 7 or 8 ships either leaving at the same time, or the same amount arriving at the same time. Like Dutchman I just glide through if I'm flying a Vette or Cutter at just under 100, as the fines are comically small.
