IT would be great if the Powerplay factions, or through pure luck find a rare Jumponium material that gets your jump range to 500 ly. It would certainly be a thing. Even better if it were tradeable.

Neutron boosts don't stack with FSD Injection. Now say you have a ship, with a 40Ly range, you then decide to put a Guardian FSD Booster on it, now call it 50Ly, Add the FSD Injection from synth and you have 100Ly, and then add the Neutron Boost. the end result is 400Ly jump range .![]()
Wait, neutron boosts and FSD injections stack?
Neutron boosts don't stack with FSD Injection.
But you can still get a basic range of about 80 LY on a maximised lightweight ship, boostable to 320 LY with neutron stars.
I've heard that they did stack briefly, but this was swiftly nerfed.
Although jumping long ranges sounds cool, there are those who do not like the jump 'creep' that pushes ranges further.
"jumponium" already exists, it is called palladium. and is key to creating a FSD boost in synthesis. which can boost your jump range to 100% of normal range.
Now, here is where things get interesting, did you know you can supercharge your FSD? White Dwarfs can add +50% to range, and Neutron stars a whopping +300% to range.

Personally, I think neutron jumps should be 500%, and white dwarfs 250%.
White dwarf jumps are currently kinda pointless.
You can perform 2 (if you don't scoop) normal jumps in the time it takes to supercharge your FSD and do 1 jump.
