P2P Material Trading, Material Dropping

Since materials are not worth credits, could we please have a form of material trading? Say, a friend is low on one material for a blueprint and he doesn't want to have to search for it, and I have one on hand. Or, I'm sitting in Jameson Memorial and I need, say, Polonium. Maybe someone wants to give it up for something I have.

Maybe I don't want to go to the Guardian sites again, and another person doesn't have what's necessary to craft his enzyme missile rack. We can trade and both get what we want.

Pleeeeaaaaase? :)

As already said, just because something isn't worth ingame credits doesn't mean it couldn't be taken advantage of by gold sellers, they operate in a variety of ways that don't always just fit the label "gold" sellers. I can imagine gold sellers filling up with grade 5 or guardian mats and sitting in stations offering to trade mats for real money, you pay them money out of the game, they drop grade 5 or guardian mats for you, it's as simple as that.

I've thought about P2P Mat Trading and it could easily be done by having it operate the same as with NPC Mat Traders. Only difference would be the Players would have to agree on an exchange rate that would limited, say 1/3 at minimum. This would let Players undercut NPC Mat Traders and create a Market, while squeezing out the profit possibility for Gold Sellers. Players would be willing to pay for Mats straight up, but not for access to a discount Mat Trader where they still have to trade Collected Mats for the Mats they want.

I would love to trade Manufactured Mats with Miners for their Raw Mats. Would beat re-logging at crash sites.
