Looking to Rank up my Empire rank. And need to know of a good place to do it. Looking for places that I can donate credits and stuff. But I don't know where to go for that.

I assume you are saying that you tried this method at Federation star ports. Rear admiral is a Federafion rank.
This method also definitely works but make sure you bring some heat sinks with you!
Re: the Ngalin data run method, it may well have been nerfed. I haven’t tried it in since I ranked up to Duke in mid-December. I would just say, make sure you’re in the right systems? There should only be one station in those two symptoms (which makes data running easier). Again, it could have been nerfed with one of the more recent updates.
I ranked up to Duke (from Lord) last weekend using data runs between outposts at Ngalinn and Maniani.
Picked up 20 missions at Ngalinn and delivered at Maniani. About 3 missions the other way round.

Confirming that Ngalin run still works. Can you tell me how many hours it took you to rank up from Lord to Duke? Or how many runs?
Yes, I have a new alt account there now. Channeled some credits to her via multicrew combat bounties, gave her Sidewinder a B-rated FSD and fuelscopp, then went straight there. My plan is to get her a Courier and a Clipper to play with.
Immediately reached 100% None on the first trip, got a rank-up data courier mission a few laps later, immediately reached 100% Outsider, then got one a bit later that gave me 100% Serf. The problem is that I'm gaining reputation faster than the availablity of rank-up missions that I can realistically do in a Sidewinder. I'm also making some money, so I think I'll have to take a break and go get a T6 or similar, to increase the variety of naval rank-ups that I can actually take (I ignored a few delivery and source-and-returns due to inadequate cargo space).
So I currently have no idea what her "actual" rank is. I was planning to quit at Baron (she won't have the budget for a Cutter), and I might already be there! Worth bearing in mind that you need a medium-pad ship, and a cargo hold (for some rank-up missions) would definitely be worth having.

Well i might be wrong but it looks to me that rep toward next ranks is increasing even if you actually haven't unlocked the next rank via rank-up mission. Otherwise i don't think i would be on 100% progress towards next rank right after completing rank-up mission.

It was some time ago but checking my EDSM logs it took about 9 hours of play spread over 4 days and I visited Ngalinn 23 times so it must have been about 23x23=529 missions.

The Ngalinn <--> Mainani method still works. Yesterday I combined the data courier missions (all Rep+ and Rep++) with other "find X and return"-missions up to Rep+++++
Now I get "Tip Off" missions in the comms panel. Do these appear with enough rank (I'm Marquis) or is this just coinicidence?
