Are there gimballed AX weapons by now? Last time i used them (a few months ago), there still was only the choice between fixed and turreted. And against scouts the turreted perform much better than fixed.

AFAIK there are not gimballed AX weapons. That's why turrets are widely used against Scouts.
I’m not a combat oriented player but I’m 60% short of triple Elite and it’s driving me nuts. I want my decal. [haha]
I’m in a similar boat. I only just started to focus on combat so I’m just a lowly “expert.” My trade rank is tycoon and exploration is pioneer so I’m looking to even out the imbalance.
Thanks for the advice re the turreted ax weapons. I was thinking of using an FAS or Python just for the armor strength but has anyone done this in a courier or vulture? Is it worth trying to level the playing field with respect to agility and maneuverability or are the scouts so far ahead that it’s better to focus on armor strength and hull integrity?
