Thargoid Probe EMP-like Pulse Wave

I've been interest in this a while ago, and got myself a thargoid probe today. When I thought of how other CMDRs triggered it, I found that they used discovery scanner and honked in front of the probe. Now that we've got FSS system, could we trigger the pulse wave again? And how exactly?
Thank you for any replies.

You can still activate the Disco Scanner honk. Just assign it a button in a fire group, switch to analysis mode and away you go.

Its good fun and has some 'interesting' uses.

If theres a big get together of players, wing up and you drop into the instance on your own, with your cohorts in supercruise.

Ping the probe to initate the EMP, then have your wingmates swoop in unaffected from supercruise using navlock and they'll have a load of defenceless players wondering whats going on.

Congratulations and good luck with your new Thargoid Probe. Remember to keep it properly, in conditions close to that of vacuum of space, and well below freezing point, in order to preserve that fancy bug shell iridescence. Ammonia gases in Thargoid ground structures can be used for care of your new alien artifact, and you'll often hear happy gnarling and beeping noises when close to these places.
