FDEV Community Managers - are your holidays over yet?

Just asking.

are there dedicated community managers left for Elite Dangerous?

You had time to make a dedicated "goodbye and self gratification - live-stream" for Ed Lewis last week, but somehow i miss a bit of Feedback about the ongoing issues we got ingame since 3.3
Something like "he, we noticed and someone is already working on it" would be nice

Do i need to subscribe to a special newsletter or social media channel to get notice of any response?

or is Elite Dangerous on the Backburner because of your anniversary

The actual problem is not the CM, but the deafening silence of FD dev on the BGS mess they have created. BGS is taking the same path than PP.

Pretty sure the BGS being completely broken does affect everybody.

Not those on DW2. You may not have heard of it - big community event, apparently over 12k players. Got mining equipment and a shipyard for their CG this week - as requested from the community team.

The bgs (among other bugs) do have an effect on people, but it's just the background. Annoying for people who actively play it, but I hardly think they're the majority. Mostly we're just carrying on while shrugging resignedly.

Schools really need to start teaching kids that sometimes bugs can't be fixed in 5 minutes and programming isn't necessarily a quick task with instant results.

Schools really need to start teaching kids basic comprehension skills too.

The OP isn't asking for bugs to be fixed in 5 minutes or program anything with instant results.

Just a message on some form of social media - such as an internet forum - acknowledging the issue, declaring an intent to fix it and, ideally, offering advice for what players might best do in the mean-time.

Pretty sure that player factions are still subject to the BGS regardless of whether the members are off on some galactic junket.

Yes we are the famous 2.8%.

Moving forward, FYI - just check the influence history of the station where you are mining / delivering carto.

Its toxic entitled rubbish like this that actively reduces communication.

School really need to start teaching kids that sometimes , when you are paying for a product, you should have the product you paid for.

Well, they did announce and deliver a patch with changes for the bugs affecting the most people last week, but don't let facts get in the way of a good moan...

there is a big group asking for informations about the BGS. because if we don't know how it is supposed to work, we can't tell if its working as intended or not.
we don't get information what they know that is broken, so bug reports start to duplicate,

what we got was

Background Simulation
