3.3.03 unplayable(in new systems)

Do you mean classical FPS drops or stutters, mini freezes? Because I experienced the later in the past few days, too, especially when dropping into a new system. But already before this patch.

Yes I guess it's more accurate to call them mini freezes. I never had them before this last "downdate".
Anyway the loop stopped without me doing anything in particular after a while...
Which obviously restarted at the first belt cluster met

Not only the codex but there are still a dozen of bugs reported with the FSS, like planetary data not showing up for atmospheric / ice words, location scanning taking forever, and only 1 of them was addressed that should be (but isn't) fixed in this patch, while they introduced more bugs. :S

Oh yeah, only half of the reports I listed earlier were for the Codex. The exploration ones are far more annoying (other than not being able to get discoveries into the codex). But as I said these are just the tip of the iceberg.

I've been on trips where I was just scooping/honking and hit a good string of systems with asteroid fields to the point I made a mini game out of how many jumps I could do before the spam stopped.

I'd also be happy if they removed the asteroid belt messages entirely.

Should be one message per belt and not per cluster.

Has the thread progressed to the point yet where white knights have told people they're whining and that seeing a never-ending loop of messages is character-forming and if you don't like it you can always play another game?
No, we've reached troll level, and I've mistakenly responded.

Don't worry. When this thread reaches 30 pages you'll get a vaguely worded paragraph of marketing-speak reassuring you that they take it all very seriously and unspecified things are being looked at.

yes, amazingly this absolutely works, it would appear the audience is just that easy to game. to the point they seem to take it for granted and sometimes we don't even get that.

I got some new blocks from today, so it's not been completely wasted. Well, it was a bit wasted when I read several of their repetitive posts, but hey, I don't have to worry about them any more :)

Is the game so large and complex now that they can't fix one bug without introducing at least 3 more?

you do not want to ask that in a forum full of software engineers. let's just all have a good time and wait till ... dunno, some miracle happens, right? :D

Does that mean I don't have to worry about you following me around policing my posts any more? Well, break out out the Babycham.

Wow, this type of bug should have been found before release. It isn't an edge case, it's an extremely common game play procedure...
ugh.
