Wow, this type of bug should have been found before release. It isn't an edge case, it's an extremely common game play procedure...

This bug does make me wonder if QA ever returned after the holiday break. This clearly should've been noticed before release of the update.
Subnautica supports VR by the way, and it's absolutely amazeballs in it.

Frontier development cycle:
1. Before update: Everybody is hyped about the new content that will come with the next update.
2. Update release: People realize that the new update broke as much old content as new content was introduced, and start to feel unhappy.
3. Half a year later: The new content has now become old content, but the bugs introduced with the update are still there, everybody is **** (angry).
