....has recently begun to take much longer than usual??

I hear the voice assistant announce her countdown from five but it goes on for at least another 15-20 seconds.

Also noticing quite a bit of 'jittering' in the hyperspace travel animation.

Anyone?

...oh well guess it's just me :(

I found some old posts (2015 or even earlier) complaining of exactly the same thing.....

Could try running the an install repair.

Or it's as simple as there is an internet hiccup between the servers storing system state data and you.

This has happed to me too this week and it turned out to be server issues (not the other issue with the egg timer that was similar).

Recently Solo mode has been having issues, they publish advisories on Eilte's Start Application. Last Night everything was slow in Solo, I exited the game and saw their advisory, "We are aware there's a issue with Solo play, we're working on the problem".
