testing joystick with Evochron: Legends

bought a saitek x45 on ebay, had to see if it works. first i tried installing War Thunder, the F2P ww2? plane sim type game.. was able to determine the controls were good and that i would be a terrible plane pilot. I decided i needed to test it on a space sim, installed the Evochron: Legends demo setup my hotas pretty easily.. and again it works. This time i was better at flying, but i noticed that in Evochron it feels like im hardly moving at all(even at top speed) is Elite: Dangerous like that?

no, if you have best maneuverable ships (eagle, viper) and keep speed in blue sweet spot then ships are moving pretty fast even with 1-2 pips to ENG, with all 4 it will be much faster.

also it depends on what do you call "hardly" moves, there are loads of videos on youtube that you can watch to see the speed, it's not like first person shooter games (of course) but it's fast enough ;)

here you can watch a good pilot play combat scenario(single player) in sidewinder (eagle/viper are faster) :)

kool, good! maybe you can answer this question as well, the stick i bought is kind of sticky, whats the best way to lubricate/clean it?

i read that exact forum haha, they all seemed undecided, none mention a powder lubricant though

;) i do not own x45, had x55 for a brief period and had to return it, so now i am stuck with t160000m which is really wonderful stick, now i just need a throttle ;)

is there something in your eye? haha, i bought the x45 because i was able to get it for $20+ shipping. It works nice, it just sticks a bit

I recommend white lithium grease. Worked like a charm on my used Fighterstick Pro. It feels brand new now.
