Tally ho, that reminds me of something....Il-2 CoD. But i suppose i have the same problem with Il-2, that you have with Elite. I bought a new HOTAS and just the thought of setting this baby up demotivates me a bit.

Frontier's been developing this game since 2012, in all that time they surely have seen and been aware of the fact that bindings sometimes get lost during an update and fixed the issue before deploying a new update?

Happened to me.
I *had* mine backed up. No good, after restoring
Am still finding missing bindings.
I got less sympathy from the forum than you did. It's always the users fault.

And, a game that needs this done has issues.
Something will have to be done. Each update requires more bindings, and this last one especially.
We need an online bindings manager that suggests appropriate bindings according to your setup (there can't be that many permutations can there ?) and stores your bindings so you can retrieve them.

The big update was a doozy on the controllers. I've tweaked mine a few times.
Come back DNA! If it's the Alliance that's boring you (Understandable ) I know a few people that are working on a special project that could use a BGS crew chief.

Boy, am I glad we lost that contract....
If your HOTAS is a Thrustmaster 16000.M, you're welcome to a copy of my bindings xml if that helps at all, though it isn't really a combat set-up.

edlaunch has an error message about cobra texture package and quits
EDLaunch.config.xml file
Swap lines 10 and 11 in the XML file if you can't get it to run. it will then do the update
don't forget the indents.
That file is in the Program Files(x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch\EDlauch
which ever drive it is installed on.
back it up before changing it with MS Visual studio though. My version of ED looses all its bindings when my Logitech controller isn't detecred
I always have to check on the system menu then hardware installed to see if the Wifi has detected it, then unplug the crappy logicect thing and hey
its there. If not, whem I run ED all my hand held controller settings are erased.
anyway back to Fallout 4
