PvP Solo Here I Come

In Deciat for FSD upgrade. I get griefed by a cmdr. and destroyed.
Im in a Beluga for gods sake. I don't even have any weapons.
I trade and taxi. I don't know what the cmdr's daddys ship was, I was too busy trying to hi-wake out. Failed.

It's not my first time around the planet. I've been playing since the beginning. This isn't the first time and it wont be the last.
It never bothered me before, perhaps because I've never lost a peaceful ship before. I've lost fighter ships more then I can count.
But those are war ships to me.


So now I am in solo. I might just stay here unless I'm in a war ship.

There's some dump people out there.
Nice job cmdr, you destroyed a Beluga with no weapons. Might want to go upstairs now. Granny might have some milk and cookies for you.

My sympathies CMDR. If you go visiting engineers in Open this will happen however, regular as clockwork. And you know what the very best reaction is? Nothing. The people that do this love to see your pain. Just don't bother showing it to them. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and make a plan how it's not gonna happen again. 07

When I started a long long time ago... kickstarter, I was griefed 13 times as I started my career..... went to solo like you but like the song says "One is the loneliest number" so I joined Mobius and have never looked back... give them a try... you will meet other commanders who fly like ships who you can team up with? when you want combat then go to open and clobber or get clobbered (depending on who you choose to fight). Feel for you but there are alternatives.

Check out Elvira Martuuk. She's got the FSD upgrades too. A lot less Commander traffic which means less people looking to kill people.

Dude. You're an experienced pilot who flew an unarmed beluga into a murder hotspot in open.

Don't break my irony meter with the personal insults.

Deciat is fairly well-known to be a mudhole and there's a whole Ganker Squad that apparently made it home.

Lacking any functional C&P, taking a poorly equipped Vessel there in Open is asking for useless trouble.

And after all - what possible benefit for the own Engineering plans exists i.e. in Open? Absolutely none.
At best, the L Pads at the place are blocked after arrival in a Large Ship during busy hours or disengaging into it causes severe lag or even a disconnect.

What bothers me the most is the fact that there was no challenge in the kill. No point to it at all. No sport. All these kinds of kills do is ruin it for everybody.

That's the way it is. I was cured of playing in open except in a combat ship 4 yrs ago.
That's the only thing open has to offer, combat. The other two modes have it all.

I got ganked in Deciat once. Surprisingly my world kept turnin'.

Instead of skulking off to Solo, why don't you just ask some of us for advice on how to outfit, fly, and survive?
