PvP SRV vs. DW2

As a representative of Zarek Null in console scrub galaxy PS4, I have achieved complete and utter military domination of open mode during DW/DG2.

I hereby offer any explorer a chance for revenge.

I am parked at WP4, in open, in an SRV, and will leave my PS4 on the rest of the evening (USA EST) while I go about my house-chores.

I do this because the military power of Zarek Null is so strong that I believe I can defeat your exploration ship from my SRV, or I will die trying (well, my SRV will, and I will magically reappear in my ship).

This is not a trick, I do not have a 2nd ganker waiting in the wings. (But please do check contacts just in case, there are other gankers I may be unaware of, I cannot guarantee one won't read this and try to kill you, or me, or both).

Come at me. There must be at least one of you who wants to fight back. You might even catch me AFK.

Your ship build should be at least as formidable as my SRV build even if it jumps 70ly. If you don't have guns you can try ramming me.

[To get it out of the way, any readers who are not interested in DG2, combat, tell me i'm bored/crazy/loser/whatever, etc, just ignore this post and spare yourself the time, I posted in PvP for a reason and I already know I'm crazy]

By all means please get one of your people to try.

The worst danger so far was I forgot to refuel before going AFK for an hour and could have exploded myself if fuel ran out.

If it wasn't for that fuel consideration I'd leave it on when I go to sleep later. But I think once fuel is gone, I'd respawn in my ship in open while asleep. And if 3 or 4 explorers got together they might be able to blow up my conda before I woke up.

Oh crap are you GARD?

You need to update your Inara, I was browsing GARD and you're listed there as GARD+PS4 and for a brief moment I thought, wow someone might actually try to stop me. I was also momentarily peeved that Aash didn't sic you on me.

I think when I upgrade my PC I'm going to play my new CMDR as a superduper white knight, or maybe a parody of a completely clueless trader. Like, fly around in a T-7 jettisoning biowaste when I get pulled and typing panicky gibberish into comms. I might even meta-grief GARD, show up in a noobwinder to a CG you are all patrolling and ask you all to teach me to dock.

I've also realized if I use premium synth fuel and turn off various SRV modules I can probably leave myself parked overnight, but do I really want to find technetium?

One of my favorite moments in PvP was when I was in my PvP vulture pew'ing my buddy in his pirate vette. Neither of us could kill the other (I lacked DPS and skill, but had evasion chops)...

...so he hatch breaker limpets me. In a meta PvP vulture that couldn't carry a glass of water in the cargo hold.

I couldn't stop laughing, although no shield ever went down during that encounter, he clearly won as far as I'm concerned.

Aaah, I was far too tired yesterday night when we sent messages and tbh 13k out would have taken a while...
But if you commited (virtual) suicide and respawned in the bubble, then I'm happy to help you on your SRV case.

Although Ziljan wrote (or somebody else?) that it can be pretty tough to destroy a SRV. Never have tried it.
Maybe I could land on your SRV?

I am not afraid to be mildly inconvenienced by the loss of 1 of my 4 SRVs die for the overlord, but you'd have to land first, and I will be unleashing the full might of my SRV turret upon you as you land. My thargoid ally spies can feed your landing coordinates to me from witchspace, because of higher dimensionality and hyperplanes and science. So watch your step!!

It's tricky even if the guy is n00b. The targeting dynamics are... buggy? unique? special? This applies to any ground based target from ship, such as scanning data points from ship at jamesons crashed cobra, or fighting those little guardian ship thingies from your ship instead of SRV.

At night, even with night vision, vs skilled driver, quite difficult.

However that applies to an SRV trying to escape.

I'm going to be firing as much as possible. I do have a few tricks up my sleeve to not die though. Can't state them. Opsec and all that.
