Woohoo Cobra mkIII here we come :)

Finally made enough money to buy a cobra, raised around 160k from trading and was going to buy a viper but decided on an all rounder in the form of a mkIII cobra. Gonna buy it this evening when I get back home, maybe upgrade it's guns or may leave it as stock and keep enough money to one side for insurance while I slowly build up more cash from trading and bounty hunting :D

Congrats on getting there! I love flying the MKIII.

One suggestion would be to forget trying to go bounty hunting until you can upgrade those guns. One class 2 pulse laser will not make that a happy experience :)

Congrats on your new ride, enjoy it, pimp it out with the best weapons you can while you can as there's a wipe incoming which means that everyone's going to be back to the stock sidewinder... :D

Congratulations on the Cobra. It is a great ship. I remember the shock when I first launched. That thing is fast when boosting compared to the sidewinder or hauler.

Don't forget to have enough money left over to cover the insurance. You do not want to lose all your hard work

If the game wasn't challenging enough to some that's the ultimate life is tough deal with it move from FD :D

I don't mind I know now what not to do and I'm sure with more features we will see more avenues for profit as well.

Well done! I'm working that way myself, have enough to buy the ship but not enough to buy the weapons etc and keep enough for cargo and insurance yet, nearly there. As an original Elite commander from 30 years ago there's no other ship I really want to fly. Don't care if the game wipe comes, I know I can get there and I'll just start again.
