Although Ziljan wrote (or somebody else?) that it can be pretty tough to destroy a SRV. Never have tried it.
Maybe I could land on your SRV?

Indeed. As was the Thargoid. But for a brief moment (a bit like captain Blackader teaching home economics to the young girls of a certain convent school in Hiedelberg*1) the humiliation - must - have - been - UNBEARABLE!
P.S. I actually went for a holiday in Hiedelberg purely on the basis of that sketch. I drove around the city on a Segway. It was really nice.
Yeah that was Ziljan, and aside from his strange delusion that gankers don't know how to PvP well, he's very knowledgeable and skilled so listen to him (except when he talks about how we don't know how interdictors work, I think he lets his heart lead his analysis once in a while).
When I'm back in bubble we can try it that sounds fun. When I killed the SRV in video, I suspect (can't confirm as it only let me target lock on in final 3 seconds) most of the damage came from a ram of the SRV from my conda.
Live footage of Alec Turner coming into WP4 and stomping me:
This was what I was thinking about when writing Maybe I could land on your SRV? basically trying to get on top of your SRV and squeezing it into the ground playing orange juicer...
There's a little ganker in you just waiting to come out my fren ;-)
I've also realized if I use premium synth fuel and turn off various SRV modules I can probably leave myself parked overnight, but do I really want to find technetium?
What happened to year of the pig?It is the week of the donkey
Oh crap are you GARD?
You need to update your Inara, I was browsing GARD and you're listed there as GARD+PS4 and for a brief moment I thought, wow someone might actually try to stop me. I was also momentarily peeved that Aash didn't sic you on me.
I think when I upgrade my PC I'm going to play my new CMDR as a superduper white knight, or maybe a parody of a completely clueless trader. Like, fly around in a T-7 jettisoning biowaste when I get pulled and typing panicky gibberish into comms. I might even meta-grief GARD, show up in a noobwinder to a CG you are all patrolling and ask you all to teach me to dock.
It's tricky even if the guy is n00b. The targeting dynamics are... buggy? unique? special? This applies to any ground based target from ship, such as scanning data points from ship at jamesons crashed cobra, or fighting those little guardian ship thingies from your ship instead of SRV.
At night, even with night vision, vs skilled driver, quite difficult.
However that applies to an SRV trying to escape.
I'm going to be firing as much as possible. I do have a few tricks up my sleeve to not die though. Can't state them. Opsec and all that.
skip to about 2:09 to see SRV warfare:

Negative.
x2 dumbfire rocket = one exploding SRV.
I have had much practive at Dav's hope in this sphere.
Update to the thousands of readers who I know are all on the edge of their seats. I have officially comms ganked someone - the CMDR literally logged out to the verbal threat of an SRV. WP4 @ PS4 is a complete and utter victory for the forces of Zarek Null. We win battles without even firing a shot. Also battles where we fire shots. Zarek cannot be stopped. Z0.
Second - the CMDR you met in your instance might just have run a weaponless exploration vessel with no realistic chance to cause you any harm in your SRV. With the sword of Damocles in form of an Anaconda waiting his move to solo or private sounds like a reasonable choice.

THERE IS NO ZAREK NULL! THERE IS ONLY THE UNION OF POWERS AND SUPERPOWERS!
Weighting to the respective interests of the public and of the parties concerned Zarek Null and his reckless and will-less CMDR drones will - sooner or later - face their lawful and final fate for their abominable dark doings.

I have really no idea, hence please help me.
If somebody menu logs - 15s timer - vs combat log - aborting the game (how?) - do you see a difference in your instance? Can you decide/see what another CMDR has done?
I really don't know it cause neither I combat log nor did I ever come across another CMDR who I would have been able to identify he/she logged.
