General Gameplay Electric fence sandbox and campaign feature mode

Your Feature Request / Idea
Ok. So in the original JP power loss was a MAJOR ISSUE!!! Once the electric fences went down the dinosaurs immediately began breaking out and causing chaos. Which doesnt hapoen in tbis game. I'd like to see an electrified fence req setrings option put into the game. If you lose power for any reason to a fence housing a carnivore they sense it quickly which leads to an easy escape. It would make the game harder and it would be great nostalgia.

As of now you can house anything in a light steel non electric fence as long as they're comfort is high. It's a bit too easy. I think these animals should want to get out more often and test fences. I remember raptors attacking fences randomly when the game first came out but i havent noticed it recently.

I actually did post 1 reply on there lol.

I feel like electric fences should only be effective if they have power. If the power is out the dinos should cut through them like a hot knife through butter and not because they're comfort is low....just because they're OG's who dont care about boundaries. The only except would he electrified comcrete because it's still mostly concrete after all.

Yes sorry I realized that after posting the message lol

I do like the idea of dinosaurs testing the fences, especially when they're first introduced into the enclosure. However, I dislike the idea of them going straight for the fences whenever there's a power outage.

it could be the case for the most intelligent species such as raptors. When the lights of the fences do not blink anymore they take advantage to escape. It would make them much more dangerous!
I think the best thing is that the dinos test fences randomly, if they take an electric shock they don't restart, but if there is no electricity they continue until escape.
As for dinosaurs who want to escape because of the well being weak (as when there is a storm) it would be the same process, if they take an electric shock they don't restart immediately but if it there is no electricity they can escape.

We must really make electric fences more useful and power cuts more dangerous.

Yes! Totally agree! Not only would they see the lights off but 10,000 volts running through a fence might cause a hum or vibrations an animal could sense. If the power goes off they'd have to have some kind of idea that the fences might be down.

Yes, that would be coherent !
