Recording ingame videos

Hey there, i don't have much experience at video recording, i used the Nvidia built in video recorder, and it worked pretty well. But i found out that the recorded video is +10 Gbs for like around 20 minutes which is insane, i tried compressing it, and it hugely dropped in both size and quality.
Do you have any idea of how to properly compress that video whilst keeping an Hd quality for online sharing ?

I think it's more trying to avoid worst case, and compression here is definitely going to make a difference with a longer video especially. What resolution have you recorded in

I used the 1440p Resolution the best Hd one, and just below the 4k one, and 60FPS, and 50 Mbps. I used Movavi for compression, and unless i reduce hugely reduce the quality, the size of the video remains almost the same.

This is what you do. Get MSI after burner and use the frame rate limiter. Limit it to 30 fps.

I had an R9 390 and I used MSI Afterburner for the frame rate limiter cause this game made my 390 get a bit noisy. It was distracting so I just cut the frame rate down to a steady 30. I never got a stead 60 with the 390 anyway. This game did not care for the 390 at all. I was recording gameplay videos and uploading them to YouTube. I also have a 120GB Mushkin SSD I use as my boot drive with my OS. This is where my gameplay videos would go to. So when I upgraded to the MSI GTX 1070 Ti this past October I noticed my recordings of the game were taking up a lot of space. It's because the 1070 can run the game at a steady 60 FPS. Instead of the 30 I was getting with the 390.

TLDR; cut your frame rate in half. Your uploads will be much smaller. Also your recording will still be in 60 fps when you upload it to YouTube, at least mine were.
