No more Soon™ threads!

I have to say I have got attached to the well known phrase "Soon™"

I know everyone is probably thinking that the latest 'news' with no news has become a standard thing here. What I don't understand is why FDev gave us the big news that there is no news. Why not wait till there is some? [where is it]

Now we gone from Soon™ to end of next year before we talk about Soon™

Ah well

I guess we wait for much longer™

Presumably because they were getting tired of everyone asking "is there any news?" at every opportunity for the last month and didn't want to put up with another year of it?

The way I see it. FDEV has FINALLY accepted that there is SO MUCH fundamentally broken with ED, that they are going have to spend 2 years writing a new program to replace it.

Let us hope they look at all the car crash threads that have been repeated over the last few years and build a game that is worthy of the Elite title.

Starting with the stupid modes and shared galaxy failure. 99% of the reason in-game events fail before they even start.

One year ago they realized that they would need 1 year to fix it properly. If now they realized they need additional 2 years I'm a bit afraid that at the end of 2020 they will realize they still need another 3 years and so on!

More likely the hype will still remain and ramp up (no pun intended) every now and again with people posting their theorycrafted crap.
