Extending mission deadlines

Hi. Apologies if this has already been requested and I've missed it. I was just wondering if at some stage down the road we could ask for a time extension on missions? Sometimes (as I found out today) life gets in the way, and whilst I had ample time to complete the mission, I did it with just under an hour to spare. If you could request an extension for say, a percentage deduction from your reward then that would be extremely handy - and let's not forget the amount of times we get asked to put our skates on and do the mission quicker for a time bonus ;)
 
Or "negotiations" with the customer at all as opposed to 3 rewards?

"I need it Friday"
"I've been held up can I get it to you Saturday Morning?"
"As you've been trustworthy on past occasions I'll let you but I'll knock off 35%"
"15"
"20"
"Ok"

I think it would be work better to actually change how the mission timers work. If we exclude other things like massacre mission in a conflict zone, which should have a time limit of the actual conflict... all other mission should only count ingame time, now we can seriously lower the time limit on all missions, as we do not need to account for you not being able to complete it tomorrow, before the timer runs out etc.

An ordinary 20-24 hour mission that count real-time, could easily be made into 3-4 hours if we only counted ingame time.

Now we could mess around with things like bonuses doing the mission faster. as all players now are on a more equal foot to do the same task. for example delivery this within x hours, you need to fly there 4 times, a player with lots of time, might do this in one session, and another player do it in 4 sessions. and both could complete it to the get biggest bonus based on speedy delivery.
This is the most likely reason why the current delivery time bonuses only are given to us when enter the target system. Because it is now very likely that we in the system to complete this mission! If we got the delivery time bonus notification when we picked the mission, if you are unable to complete in that session, but instead planned to complete tomorrow, now you are at an disadvantage.
