I didn't take a screenshot, but yesterday I was tasked to kill pirate "Biggs Darklighter". If you are not a Star Wars fan probably the name doesn't ring a bell but it's a secondary (almost background) character in Star Wars Episode 4.

What Easter eggs have you found in game? Most recently I stumbled on planet “Miranda 2” orbited by “Brown Coats Refuge”. A reference to Firefly. But also, and this just may be me, but I was watching Dr. Who (impossible planet/the Satan pit) and the intercom/ship announcements voice, I swear, IS Covas Verity.
Anyone else find stuff and go “hey! I understood that reference!”

Terry Pratchett fans will no doubt have made a pilgrimage out to the HIP 74290 system, where the space station Pratchett's Disc is currently ruled by the Ankh Guards with the minority factions One Man One Vote and The Guild. This homage was added after game launch, in March 2015.

They're marked with a red triangle.
Tap them with your ship, & they open.

There's also doors that only open from the inside, if you bump them, they break open, and all the bits fly out into space, with the corresponding de-compression 'whooooosh'

Near Colonia there's a moon named Hutton Moon with an outpost named Fort Mug!

The Hutton Truckers requested both of those names for our HOTCOL faction based there. Fort Mug - or "For t' Mug" being a sort of Yorkshire version of "For the Mug!" Button Moon was the result of a Hutton Commander winning a "name a planet" competition by Frontier.
