i Have looked in game & on edsm & can not find it could it be listed under a diferent star catalog name?

In the past, when Stellar Forge hasn't exactly calculated (and placed) a system, and it's been an interesting-enough one (in real life), they've made a hand-adjustment of the in-game galaxy to better match reality. I think the Trappist 1 system is one such example. I don't know if they'll think this star qualifies...

Aside from the location of the OP's original star, I believe the Crab Pulsar (in the Crab Nebula) is considered to be a magnetar.

These lkind of systems need to be dangerous, especially if it has this varying magnetic signature...
