Gyro & touchpad is a gimmick
The "gimmick" is extremely versatile for mapping controls in Steam. The DualShock 4 is much more precise than some cheap after-market 360 controller. And it's not grossly overpriced like those Xbox Elite controllers.

and I was using bluetooth today. Absolute rubbish. Just use a cable...
Are you from the past? ;) I haven't used a cabled controller since 2007.

If I can play it with the PS4 controller I might buy it. One of the reason I never like the games was because the Xbox controller.

I sit about one foot away from my PC. What even does wireless offer at that close range? Just wrap the cable around the tower, done. It's not pretty but it's bloody effective.

As for accuracy? Handles PvP in ESO just fine. I usually win. Against mouse & keyboard. No touch pad fad needed. Much prefer a solid button.

The Sabertooth offers six of those alongside all the other buttons your DS4 has.

I might take you up on it though, and try out a Razer Raiju some point.

I sit about a meter from my tower, and if I ever need my XBox controller I don't have to wrap anything around anything :) That is the point. Wireless is just nice to have.

Indeed. And with a charging stand (there is an official one for two DS4s) running out of battery has never been an issue for me. It's also nice that for Bluetooth you don't need a separate "controller receiver" dangling from the PC. Just pair the controller with the built-in Intel Wireless Bluetooth, Steam detects it and you're good to go.

I also don't see what I need an 150 £ after market controller like "Razer Raiju" for, when the official DS4 is already perfect with its 6 axises, 14 physical buttons plus directional and Steam-mappable touchpad. Modern games are designed around the limitations of the Xbox controller (4 axises, 13 buttons + d-pad), so I never run out of buttons anyway.

I believe the PC versions are going to be released one game at a time and sold individually. Not sure how I feel about that.

All for the maximum profits and most likely to maximum price as well...Call me cynical but I do not expect a package deal with all the games for 60 USD.

I am shocked that anyone would consider a controller for an FPS. Especially multiplay. These threads never popped up in forums for PC games. I guess since the Nintendo Gamecube/PS2 and Xbox generation got their own PC's it was inevitable.

Free kills it is then.

The games were built for a controller. I get that it's an fps and all but people who want to play it with a controller are playing the game as it was intended to be played. That said - the only reason I have any interest in these ports is because I'll be able to play it with a mouse and keyboard.
