On the other hand, does Will really need moar "edifying" on mining? It's about the third one now.. mining w/ EXO, mining w/ Diamond frogs, mining at DW2 CG

As has been stated numerous other places, news will be posted in the official channels. And will probably not be part of a regular livestream unless advertised to be part of that in advance (Facebook, Frontier's website et cetera).

I mean, because somebody was gonna ask everytime the devs say something on the forum, and you just made fun of that... I mean, you did, right?

Will - top tip - to avoid the blast from a motherlode detonation (and the fragments of rock which get thrown out from it) your best bet is to park the ship as close as you can to the asteroid prior to detonation. Turning your shields off will also help to maximise yield (for reasons it's far too complicated to go into here!). ;)

This will actually be the first time I've gone asteroid hunting... on a livestream! I was less successful on my Distant Worlds 2 mining trip... and, well, the mining with Diamond Frogs... wasn't actually mining (psst, it was pirating).
