It's part of the learning curve.Don't know the longest anyone has waited for a match, but there's bound to be a leader board.i dont know CQC is a good advice. I spend 30min finding match yesterday and week before. I start completely ignore CQC
I understand your suspicions here but I don't get the joke.Dude I'm like 90% convinced you're shining us all on...
...and can you already dock in FA Off?Show us a video and shrink that number to meager 4999.
Yes, I've been docking with FA off.
It still takes me 2 minutes and I've a tendency to bounce. It ain't pretty yet.
I want to get to the point where I slide in and drop down in one buttery-smooth motion.
Now I need to learn how to do quick turns and how to use weapons.
Did earn my first 63K credits last night - can anyone point me in the direction of a casino?

I saw you in Kini last night, I tried to find you but then you disappeared. I had a wing mission to share with you.
Sounds pretty griefery, Krash.
Maybe I'm getting a sense of humor and just wanted to tell some jokes?
Please don't go out of your way quite yet.I saw you in Kini last night, I tried to find you but then you disappeared. I had a wing mission to share with you.
I totally get what you mean there.FA Off is the most fun way to fly imo. After you get used to it it will seem like being in a straight jacket to turn assist on for any length of time. Better to just learn it early, along with fixed weapon proficiency. The best way to learn either is to just go all in.
If you're developing a sense of humor you should be able to tell that I'm teasing you![]()

I have started to use FA off.
If a ship boosts past me; that is the time, to hit the FA off button. Then flip over 180 degrees and then, hit the FA on button. Works for me, baby steps and all that.
Who is this 'macro' fellow I keep hearing about? He sounds like one of those, shifty Latino guys to me.I setup a macro to get the timing down for this maneuver:
1. FAoff
2. boost
3. lateral thrust (down) 2000 millisecs / Pitch up
4. FAon
5. reset throttle

I still haven't learned how to use the in-game communications.
Seriously, it would be an exercise in total frustration for you.
A friend and I are going to be doing the most basic and simple missions we can find around Trevithick.
We were totally excited about doing simple courier jobs and we want to move onto hunting noob pirates this weekend.
Here is what we did last night:
1: I got him to add his keys for Horizons and the paint pack for the Sidewinder.
2: We figured out how to pay a fine (he shot me last week and got nuked by the station)
3: We learned the difference between supercruise and hyperspace (still confused by that)
4: We learned how to pick up and drop off a mission.
5: I told him where to go for setting a hotkey to re-center VR.
^---- Still VERY much learning the screamin' basics.
So yes, I'd love to have you walk us through a high $$$$ credit mission at some point but we're still toddlin'.
Feel free to drop in and blow us up at any time - we're still in noob ships.
If it looks like a trap, sounds like a trap and even smells; like a trap. Go for it, it's all a learning curve.I was going to show you a simple procedure:
1. accept wing request
2. accept wing mission
3. cash in wing mission
The big question is do you want to be spoiled with 2mil or more credits for doing nothing? Getting a lot of credits as a noob can ruin the game for some players.

The disembodied head I carry around with me? That is just a malicious rumour; started by my enemies and as the those found in my freezer. I explained, that I was just looking after them for a friend.Close. If you watch "Deadly Class"? The Macro is a lot like the disembodied head you carry around for special occasions![]()
