In & Out arrows at stations instead of In & In arrows (toaster rack)

As an additional pilot reference...

Outside the airlock of coriolis and orbis stations is a toaster rack (as they call it). Inside the short sides of the toaster rack are lit arrows which cycle and point inwards...

(as seen above)

If the arrows would cycle AND point outwards on the exit side of the station it would compliment and further illustrate to commanders (especially newer commanders) as well as make logical sense and improve the docking/exiting experience.

I believe this must have been suggested before so credit should go to those who suggested it before me.
Fly safe!

PS. to clarify, suggesting to change arrows outside airlock to cycle and point in direction of recommended direction of travel for each side.

Good point.

I have to say that I have never noted this before. But you are right, the arrows should go in the direction, ships are expected to travel in.

It does answer the question: Why do Belugas, insist on going through the centre os the slot.

No need for arrows, that's what the light are for. You stay on the side of the green light.

Your green inwards is outwards red. Outwards green is inwards red.

Even the station tells you to follow the greens if you listen to some of the comms in station. The slot is always on the side which is rotating anti-clockwise

As I said: I have never noted them before. I guess because I first focus on the centre, of the slot and then the green lights, as I get closer.

Yes, and you might enjoy knowing the red and green lights (as well as one set blinks and the other doesn't) is primarily due to player input. Allows for color blindness even.
But there is no reason the game cannot improve.
Like maybe adding booster shields behind the ship (where they belong) to protect the control tower occupants as well as noise dampening (look at an aircraft carrier for example) which has been (personally) suggested multiple times since beta. There is no reason the game cannot improve. I just wish they would have looked at some of the suggestions (since alpha) and included more of them during the quality of life period (BEYOND) as well as many that were addressed.

Before you post a reply criticizing someone who took the time and energy to contribute perhaps some of you might take a look and see why a suggestion is unnecessary or inappropriate?
I certainly would rather see better things but I believe making the foundation strong to be viable and worthwhile as well (time permitting).
