Ha - never once logged into CQC. I hear the wait times are atrocious.
As a matter if interest, what value of exploration data have you sold to get Elite, checking to see if it's the same as before the last patch.

Ah.... I couldn't tell you. I hit one down from Pioneer on my one and only explo trip long ago, then hit 15% pioneer while reconning some sectors in the bubble. Have sold all kinds of short range data over the years I've been playing.
I really have no clue what the total cost was.
Ok, but you can see the total amount of exploration data sold in the codex, have you sold much since becoming elite? If you haven't it should be somewhere in the area of 160m.

I was lucky enough to make it [last week] as well, and about time, so I know how you feel! It was the last one I needed to get, and its taken far longer than it should have done, as I've not really done any 'exploration' trips like yourself either .... that is aside from the 5kLy needed to access Palin as an engineer.

Not to belabor, but I just did a more-or-less similar trip recently to when I made my first Elite in Exploration, and made almost 1 billion credits this trip. The mission this time was to SCAN/MAP some of my ELWs, so no one else would, and found 14 more ELWs. Spins my head when I think about how far Exploration has come. This is my Elite post:
