Questions after Livestream

As some others i have quite a few questions after seeing the livestream. I already opened 2 Threads but i have quite some more questions so it might be better to bundle them all in 1 thread instead. Hopefully there will be some answers soon, or maybe they can be answered on Sunday's Q&A [wink]
Im quite sure i will add more questions soon. The more i see, the more questions i get.

1. Mixing locales

It seems like on the regular local we can not select the dessert terrain type. At the same time all the props and stuff seem to be there. Will the terrain type be added? So i can have a dessert themed area in my park?

2. Employee workspace

Like we already have seen in the livestream, the janitor went all over the place. Back in RCT3 we could assign a specifik working space to an employee. Will this feature be in PC as well? (This would be really usefull for example to keep the Pirate king in the pirate themed area for example)

3. Multiple Trains

Will it be possible in alpha 3 to have multiple trains? Ofcourse we didn't see this in detail yet but i could not find any clue this will be possible in alpha 3.
If not, when will this be added? And will there still be time to bugtest it by early bird members?

4. Alpha version?

Im a bit confused as Ed said a few times the version we were seeing was pre-Alpha 3.
does this mean the version we get next week is further updated? And other options might be available?

Last but not least im a littlebit worried now. During the livestream i think we saw a lot of the added features in alpha 3 but it seems like there is still a lot missing.
Waterrides, omnimovers, tracked rides, transport rides, wooden coaster, etc .. they were all confirmed to be there at release i believe or at least strongly hinted (correct me if i'm wrong). Yet i still see no trace of them being in the game. As far as i know this is also the last Alpha before moving to Beta which would leave no room to bugtest those features?
Or will some of them be in Alpha 3 after all but we just didn't see them yet?

Why is everyone so concerned about getting all answers right after the first of many live streams? We still have more days of streams where other things can be revealed/answered.

A beta is for bug testing, so all release features should be available at this point and they can be tested then

Im not looking for all answers, this are just things that particular confused me after the livestream because they were quite unexpected (to me).
So yes, you're right i have to be patient for a lot of answers (Especially question 3) But all other questions i feel like i know less, then before the livestream [happy]

one question just answered, pre-alpha means pre-aplha 3 so yes its different from the release alpha 3 version

Yes, seems so...

Now i wonder why, Alpha 3 release is in 5 days already. So why aren't they playing with the version we will get? What will be the differences? (more stuff for us as a surprise?)

it is probably more of a PR thing so that if there are any big problems they can fix them and they can then be like oh it was just pre-alpha 3

It could perfectly be that those will only be available in the beta or even only in the official version released on nov 17, the fact that there is an alpha and a beta for the early birds doesn't mean you have to have each and every ride available during these phases. They might just leave quite a few out until the official release.

Totally right, and i would have expected that with scenery and other "less advanced" stuff that doesn't need as much bugtesting.

But most of the things i mentioned i would have tought would need a period of testing before it should go into Beta or being released. But ofcourse i can be wrong [happy]

Great questions, I seriously enjoyed the streams, yes many questions raised and that's what we the PRE release players are there to do, IT was great seeing a lot of new stuff but perhaps silvarret was NOT using the actual alpha 3 version that we will all see,(only guessing here) I can imagine much is shrouded in secrecy and perhaps the final alpha 3 is still under wraps. Having said that It was good to see many of the diehard beta and alpha testers on the channel, shame there were also some idiots in there, but I think it went amazingly well, IT cannot have been easy to do that live. I love this game and believe Frontier have done on each step the right thing, and even though the silence between releases is frustrating I do believe they listen. My big concern at moment is stability, I have made a lot of parks and experimented with so much, but suddenly on my latest park too much has just started to slow it down. Not everyone has a gaming PC, and mine is a huge machine i7 quad 32ram top gtx graphics, but only half my latest park built. ( admitted ive hundreds of waterfalls etc and lights and so much many things in there that you guys taught me, suddenly my performance dropping. I am hoping that there is an ability to limit the peeps cos I love the building part and that also frontier will ensure that this game is available to many that do not have high end spec machines. That can only reduce its market. Having said that respect to you all and to frontier, looking forward to what is to come.. Thank you

During the live streams it was mentioned that it was pre-alpha 3, so maybe there will be more to come tomorrow on the stream or during Alpha 3.

I hope what more to come, because for the moment, there's great things, but the 2 things I would like doesn't seem to be there:

1- The ability to rotate all objects on 3 axis
2- The possibility to create multi-angle buildings within the same building (multi-grid building). I always find it too much complicated to be force to create many buildings just to create something with multiple different angles...

Let's hope, but I begin to loose faith for these features.

And I still hope a lot of deep management aspect, maybe more to come in the upcoming streams.
