Features you DON'T want.

Money cheats, park rating cheats, guest manipulation cheats, or any general "do this enough times, and the game becomes super easy" cheats.
I feel like that's what the sandbox is for.

I want those big objects. Please do not stop making them. I love them.
Not everyone of us have time to spend hours to build houses. So a variety is good. It is also higher detail. As a way to make builders happy, release building parts as well. If the house has a special flower in its window, release that flower separate as well. If you get what I mean.

My nope list:

Microtransactions ingame

Levelling up

Grinding work like click ride to collect money, click shop to refill stock.

Dumbed down mentality in general.

:cosmiccow::logo: (no nope to cow I just wanted to throw in :D)

Probably some things that I don't want in the game are in-game purchases (except for purchasable DLC).

PAID DLCS:D
No just kidding,i'm fine if they are big like expansion packs and i understand if they need the money now after all this free updates<3.
BUT NO MICROTRANSACTIONS;)I want real content not just one item for 2 euros or so!

Looking at Elite Dangerous makes me nervous. I really hope they don't put overpriced micro transactions in Planet Coaster, it makes the game feel cheap.

I can't stand sandbox has to be career/challenge for me!

Things I do not want the devs spent any time on:

Multiplayer Simply because I will never play such a game mode. Don't want to come back to a carefully build section of the park that has been altered by someone else.
Waterpark or Zoo expansions IN RTC 3 it became extremely boring very quickly.
Pre build scenery / rides Most fun of the game is customize every little thing myself. I surely hope that there will be more props added or mod support that allows people to make extra props.

Please for he love of all that is RCT/themepark Holy don't add the following:
- Microtransactions - I'll gladly pay for a worthwhile expansion (like Coaster Follies, or Soaked)
- Zoo/Animal Park - The game is Planet Coaster - NOT ZOO TYCOON
- Reskins of existing coasters -> Just offer a menu for train style in the builder.
- Water Parks** - Actually this would be ok if it can be integrated better than RCT3 where you ended up with a park within a park situation that kind of made the water park not fit with the rest of the theme park.

"This feature is locked. You must complete <objective> to unlock this feature."
[mad]

"This item, which is teasing you right here in the catalog and probably already on your harddrive as well, is locked. You must pony up <amount> to unlock this item."

That weird DLC button in every single catalog, does not bode well. It is taking up even more screen estate since the latest update.

I like the prefab segments. But it would be nice if it could turn into normal pieces with a "convert" button.

Let's face it, Planet Coaster's a great game, but they're bound to add something in that we don't want. Here's what I'm hoping they don't add in.-Extreme Weather. Sure, rain or high winds is fine, but when say... a hurricane runs through your park, it tears up everything you've worked hard for. That'd suck right?-Coasters flying off rails. We know how RCTW turned out with this feature. You couldn't make the epic coasters you were really hoping for because it was "too fast". Screw too fast, I wanna make a coaster faster than Formula Rossa!-Real world coaster disasters. Do you recall when The Smiler crashed in 2015 due to a stalled cart? I heard it was by human error, which would suck if my coaster suddenly stalls on it's 200ft tall loop and here comes another train to crash right into it because the operator was too stupid to listen to the warning signs and decided to override the safety system. If I remember correctly, Flight of Fear at Kings Island caught fire one time. It'd suck for your LIM coaster to suddenly catch fire mid-ride. It was bad enough to deal with in RCT 1 & 2. I sure don't want my rating to drop because Johnny was too stupid to stop the ride.-MORE FRICTION. We can all agree on this one. No explanation required. 'Nuff said.-Guests who go off paths and into ride areas. It'd be just complete chaos when a guest runs off path with a guard chasing after them. I don't want to deal with that kind of [mouth shut].Anything else?
Here, I thought this is supposed to be simulation (as it was branded as "simulation evolved"). And honestly, these things you mentioned are those I miss the most. That´s why the gameplay is so shallow. I definitely expected these and I am very dissapointed it´s not included (excluding extreeme weather, I don´t rly need that one either). I understand some people don´t want to bother with these, but for them, I would say there is Sandbox mode. For others, there sholuld be CHALLENGE mode and it is dissapointing that it does not stand to it´s name.....

But thank god it doesn't say what kind of simulation.

Theme park builder simulator? Theme park business simulator? Theme park disaster simulator?

It is a great "general" simulator with a bit of everything.

Unpopular opinion alert! I dare to say that the only thing that is really evolved, is the terrain editor. Of course, voxel engines and voxel based sculpting is not that new in the design industry, but never before was it done in such a elegant and accessible way for regular gamers. All game editors and simulators still rely on the polygonal push/ pull and those fall flat when the angle becomes too steep, let alone that they allow concave shapes and the interesting formations we see in PlanCo.

And that's it. All the other systems are just minor variations on things that other games already do for decades. "Evolved" staff management just means some arbitrary timers for training. "Evolved" marketing is just the ability to let campaigns run concurrently and auto-renew. "Evolved" research means concurrent progress bars instead of only one. The so-called next-gen building system is basically just a a traditional 3D gizmo and a Copy-Paste slapped on top of the old grid-based system from RCT2. The track builder still works with rigid nodes without any form of continous rolling.

I think the Simulation Evolved was mostly aimed at the now infamous Guest Brain. It eats CPU-cyles and FPS like nobody's business, but is it worth it? Guests are so "intelligent" that they become robotic and artificial. Sure, they are nicely animated and look cute, but their actual decisions are unrealistic and even undesirable since they start ignoring path sections that are not efficient or (flat)rides that do not get high ratings by definition. In that regard, I would even state that the "dumb" guests of older RCT games were more realistic. They wandered aimlessly through the park, were tempted into on-the-spot purchases and enter rides just because they stumbled upon it and it didn't look too intense or boring. Of course this was mostly done out of technical limitations, but that's exactly how real themepark guests (should) behave! We visit theme parks to have a care-free day out, away from the boring world of tight planning and budget-related decisions.

The only extreme weather that I would like to see in the game is a thunderstorm. The others I definitely don't want to see.
